Kjetil Hasselgård is an Oslo based photographer working mainly for agencies.

Through his work, Kjetil strive to combine technical finess with artistic sophistication. His strengths are working with people and capturing human connections.

Kjetil Hasselgårds formal education is from Oslo Photo Art School where he focused on learning to express himself through photos and to gain an understanding of photographic theory. This gave him the confidence to develop his own style.

On completion of the course Kjetil worked for 2 years as an assistant. This time was particularly valuable for the practical and technical insights he was able to pick up in the studio and on location.

In the summer of 2005 Kjetil felt ready to start applying what he had learned and decided to setup for himself. His work has included documentary, products, landscapes and people.
